Grant Overview and Goals

Counties, municipalities, and weed management entities (including weed management areas) may apply for grants to address noxious weeds and invasive plants, with priority given to species on the noxious weed list. • Applicants not from tribal nations must consult with their local CAI to discuss the RFP prior to submitting a project.
  • Prior to completing an application, applicants must have approval from their financial authority to participate with this grant.

We expect to award approximately $93,000 in Fiscal Year 2022. The maximum award amount is $5,000.
